Formerly known as the Soul Food Kitchen from Natchez, Mississippi, a tradition was started by me and my mother. In memory of my late Grandmother, who was coined the "Cake Lady" of Natchez gave Miss Lou Cooking Cafe the flavor and inspiration we now serve to our Austin family some 20 years later. Gathering with my father's family in the "Boot", Crawfish Boils inspired the hint of New Orleans, LA spices and the Miss-Lou Shrimp Burger currently on our menu. With the true southern taste of the "Sip" and the "Nola", an infusion of flavors is what you will experience at Miss-Lou Cooking Cafe in Austin, Texas.
